Repticon Reptile and Exotic Animal Convention (Milwaukee, WI)

Reptiles and exotic pets from the top breeders in the nation are available for purchase at this traveling animal expo. At Milwaukee’s County Expo Center, attendees can get up-close-and-personal with these scaly creatures through Live Animal Encounters. Various workshops, live animal presentations and educational seminars are offered throughout the day.

Mission Creek Festival (Iowa City, IA)

April 5-10, 2016

With a mission to promote the arts and cultural community of Eastern Iowa, this week-long springtime festival transforms Iowa City into a collaborative platform for creatives, techies, music lovers, film junkies and more. What began in 1952 as a small ceremony honoring a Korean naval hero has grown over the years into one of the largest and most cherished festivals in South Korea. For 10 days in early April, Jinhae Gunhangje brings two million locals and visitors to Changwon to experience the beauty of hundreds of blooming cherry blossoms.
