The Colorado Festival Scene

You could say that Colorado is America’s favorite landlocked state. Whether you’re a proud homebody or the outdoorsy type, it’s a place where locals and visitors alike can revel in the scenery around them. With desert, snow-capped mountains, forests and river canyons, Colorado is spoiled with an incredibly diverse landscape. Its microbreweries are out-of-this-world, too, which makes the view even more spectacular (just wait until all that hoppy, malty goodness cascades down your dry throat). No matter your interests, the Centennial State has something for everyone. You can trek the great Rocky Mountains, or explore many popular cities in the foothills including Boulder, Colorado Springs, and Denver. When it’s festival time, which is all the time, Colorado specializes in extreme sports, cold brews, summer and winter festivals. From the toe-tapping Telluride Bluegrass Festival to the Great American Beer Festival, you can’t go wrong where the columbines grow.
