The American Festival Scene

Yes, anyone living from the top of North America to the bottom of South America can be considered American. As for this bunch of American festivals (scroll up to see them), they’re celebrating United States history and culture—which technically, is a mish mash of cultures. Therefore, many of the cultures living across those two continents are also part of the U.S. melting pot. Now back to the festivals—they can be firework-laden Fourth of July celebrations in honor of U.S. Independence Day. They’re patriotic, red, white and blue, and take place in cities across the country, from the multi-day Philly 4th of July Jam in Philadelphia, to the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum Fourth of July Celebration in L.A. You might find a Juneteenth festival celebrating African-American history, or a festival celebrating Latino or Native American heritage. American festivals are as diverse as America.
