The European Festival Scene

Europe is crammed with culture—from the shores of France to the Europe-Asia border. That culture seeps from its seams and has made it outside the continent. Whether it’s French wine, Spanish tapas, German beer or anything in between, it can be found in cities from Europe to North America. Many aspects from many European cultures, from food to music, can be found at festivals. A Bastille Day celebration outside of France is not uncommon; the same goes for Oktoberfest celebrations outside of Germany. You can watch the famous running of the bulls at the Fiesta de San Fermín in Pamplona, Spain; hoist a stein at Oktoberfest in Munich, Germany; or eat topnotch Italian cuisine at Taste of Italy in Los Angeles. And that’s just dabbling in European festivals.
