Inspired by the picturesque Canadian Rockies, Banff SnowDays hosted in Banff, Alberta, celebrates winter for the entire month of January. Highlights include the Big Bear event, which turns downtown into a terrain park competition featuring ski and snowboard professionals, the Canadian Olympic Team Block Party honoring Olympic hopefuls, and the annual Skins Game with world-class curlers showcasing their talent. The two-week Ice Magic Festival features world-class ice carvers, an ice climbing festival in which participants climb a 40 ft. ice wall and Little Chippers Weekend filled with family-friendly children's events. Round out your experience of the winter wonderland with sleigh rides, hockey tournaments, dog sledding, skiing and more.
