The 8th Annual Briar Patch Arts Festival will be held on Saturday September 22, between 10am and 3pm, presented by Eatonton Main Street-Downtown Eatonton and the City of Eatonton. Located on the Putnam County Court House Lawn, 100 South Jefferson Avenue and in the streets surrounding the square in Historic Downtown Eatonton, the heart of the Lake Country, between the Lakes in the Briar Patch. This is the go to place for Birthday, Anniversary, Christmas, or just because gifts. Plus entertainment and vendors all taking part in the fun factory of the Lake Country, Middle Georgia and beyond!!! This year events will include the 2nd annual Fire Fighters challenge. This is an individual and team challenge event at the Festival. The 4 events will consist of Quick Dress, Barrel Roll, 2 into 1 and Bucket Brigade. We would also like to welcome Patchwork Fabrics Gifts and More at 311 S. Jefferson Ave. who will be displaying wonderful quilts. At Heavens Gate Christian Bookstore and Gifts at 115 S. Jefferson Ave, There will be an essential oils workshop in the morning. Peaceful Purpose Hospice of Georgia will be hosting a health check up, at 106A N. Jefferson Ave. including a blood pressure reading and handing out water. Plus entertainment and vendors all taking part in the fun factory of the Lake Country, Middle Georgia and beyond!!! We look forward to seeing y'all after the Brer Terrapin race courtesy of the Eatonton Service League right here in the Briar Patch.
