Don't miss the biggest kite festival held on ice in the Midwest! Stunt kite teams perform amazing dance routines choreographed to music. You will see unique kites designed and made by their owners and huge inflatable kites made in New Zealand! Buy your own kite at the Route 66 Kite Shop in the Lakeview Room across the street from the flying field and join the fun on the frozen lake. Hot lunch is available from the Smokee Heights food truck on site and home made sweets will be available inside the Lakeview Room. Come dressed warmly to enjoy an entire day of smiles!
