**ANNUAL 2 DAY FESTIVAL** The ever popular 16th ANNUAL SWAMPFEST AT THE CONGAREE 2018 is a two-day fall event and a unique opportunity to celebrate the nature, the people, and the rich heritage of Lower Richland County. People from all over travel to this event. Friday night's event is the BBQ, BLUES, & JAZZ CONCERT. This is an outside event but it is tented and covered. RV Clubs also arrive from across the states. Each year this event is packed to capacity, we hope to see you this year! FRIDAY OCTOBER 5th, 2018 @ 7:00 PM is the BBQ Blues & Jazz Concert, always occurs on Friday evenings at the Historic Harriet Barber House & Grounds, 116 Barberville Loop, at Lower Richland Boulevard off Garners Ferry Road, Hopkins, SC 29061. Just 11 Miles outside Columbia, SC! RAIN or SHINE! This years spectacular event will feature NATIONAL AND LOCAL RECORDING ARTISTS / BANDS [Live Bands & Shows] plus Food / Drink vendors from across the southeast with Pig Pickin & Oyster Roast!! The Ticket price for this fundraiser is $25.00 which are available online, at the Gate (Day of Concert) or PAPA JAZZ RECORD SHOPPE, 2014 GREENE STREET (5 Points), Columbia, SC 29205. (803) 256-0095. (NO REFUNDS or EXCHANGES) Table seating is on a first come first serve basis. Although table seating is available you are also welcomed to bring lawn chairs and coolers. Day Two SATURDAY, OCTOBER 6th 11am-4pm will be held at The Old Mt. Moriah Site, 1000 Old Bluff Road & The Congaree National Park, 100 National Park Hopkins, SC 29061. The second day will feature an array of national and local artists of live entertainment, dancers, exhibitionists, vendors, park tours & activities, carnival rides for the kids, contests, an so much more!! The public is invited to attend this Admission (Day One) & FREE (Day Two) / 2 DAY event.
