From the Organizer
With summer waning, come close it out in style and join us on the grassy knoll! Return to a simpler time of music, dancing, tasty treats, and savory libations. A chance to step back to the end of the 1st World War, the Volstead Act (in memoriam), Prohibition, Women’s Suffrage, and the roaring sights and sounds of the 1920’s. Sprawled out on a magnificent lawn, return to an older era of flapper dresses, boater hats, and the big band scores of the 1910's, 1920's, & 1930's. 10 piece orchestras will warm up your feet, dance lessons, performances, and contests, lawn games including croquet, bocce, and tug o' war, a massive dance floor, paper moon photo sets, food & beverage available for purchase, specialty alcoholic Prohibition cocktail bars, and much more await! Period attire strongly encouraged.
