Ditch your ego, wear your alter ego
Dress up. Let your freak flag fly.
Unplug
Leave your gadgets behind. Los Coyotes is off the grid, and while at the festival, you’ll find yourself with no cell service – a blessing in disguise, if you ask us. Deal with it. Enjoy it. Plug into the experience of Desert Hearts – remote, unusual and extraordinary. Everything you need is not at your fingertips, but is everywhere you need it to be.
Dance
Not only is it encouraged, when the nightly temperatures drop, it’s the best way to stay warm.
Sleep?
No, thanks. The Desert Hearts festival is ongoing (we're talking 100 straight hours of music), and sleep is passé. However, if sleep is something you value, give City Hearts a try; it’s only one day and goes from 2-10 pm.
Getting There
The closest major city is San Diego. Get on Highway 5 for about two hours. If you're coming from Los Angeles, it will take 3.5 hours. Read Desert Hearts' own directions before relying on Google Maps. If you’re headed to City Hearts, fly into Los Angeles International Airport (LAX) and make the 40-minute drive to LA Center Studios.
