Getting There
Easily accessible from locations to the north and south, the South Queensland gathering is less than an hour's drive from the Brisbane CBD area, 1.5 hours from the Gold Coast and a 2-hour drive from either Byron Bay or the Sunshine Coast. For those without wheels, a connecting shuttle bus service runs from both Brisbane and Ipswich rail stations.
Lodging
Earth Frequency offers two types of camping, regular and deluxe. Regular camping is available to everyone who buys a ticket, and is included in the ticket price. Deluxe is a three-tiered offering, for those who want to set up camp a day early and be closer to the action. Three different plot sizes are available, check their website for more info.
Bring your positive being
Earth Frequency encourages friendship, warmth and most of all, respect. EF is a place where all walks of life will feel welcome. Leave your hangups at home and expand your potential.
Embrace the great outdoors
Remember, you are in one of the largest natural event spaces in Australia, situated at the peripheral edges of the Outback. Prepare to go back to basics when you camp.
Immerse yourself in new experiences
Earth Frequency prides itself on its all encompassing, exploratory nature. Sure, you may like techno but there's no Richie Hawtin or Loco Dice here - go witness the colourful couture of the Sacred Circus, or a spot of LED performance at the Electric Dream area and drop your usual festival itinerary.
Protect yourself from the heat
EF is set slap bang in the middle of Australian summertime. So make sure you are prepared for temperatures that can hit the mid 30 degree mark and pack suncream, hats and plenty of fluid. But despite the heat, as well as being based relatively near the coast, it may still rain, so check the weather and prepare to take your wellies.
