Don't miss this opportunity for World Class birding!Over 95 field trips, boat trips, walking tours, workshops, historic gardens and homesteads, birds, butterflies, dragon flies, remote barrier islands, marshes, wetlands, shell collecting, games, exhibits, nighttime owl prowls, kayaking, photography contest, keynote presentation, evening social event, mingling with birders and nature enthusiasts, tram tours, lots of family fun! Free Keynote Presentation: The Miracle of Migration. Learn how a 100-year old treaty makes migration possible and what our birds will need in the next 100 years to survive and thrive. Emily Jo (EJ) Williams is the Vice President of Migratory Birds and Habitats for the American Bird Conservancy (ABC). Trips and tours take place throughout Virginia’s Eastern Shore from Kiptopeke State Park to Chincoteague Island. Cost: No overall Festival admission. Free events every day. Many trips are free.
