Imagine a place where the mountains meet the sky. Imagine valleys, forests and untamed wilderness for as far as the eye can see. Imagine endless trails for hiking and mountain biking, a clear mountain lake to cool down in during the day and amazing live music to fill your soul all night long... Well, you needn't only imagine this place anymore! This incredible gem, Snug Lake Amphitheatre, exists in British Columbia, Canada just 40 km north of Princeton (about 3.5 hours east of Vancouver), nestled in the highlands of the Okanagan-Similkameen on the northernmost tip of the Cascade Mountain Range! Element is a music festival in the vein of the vintage jam festivals, where collaboration between bands and musicians is not only welcomed, but heavily encouraged! We strive to provide an unforgettable experience through the magic of improvisational collaboration, both musically and through our on-site activities as well as surprises! Our vision is derived from being fans of the music itself and is specifically calculated to cater to the guests’ experience. Element also includes an array of enjoyable activities for our festival patrons. This summer, we will have lakeside yoga with musical accompaniment every morning, freshwater fishing in Snug or one of the numerous other nearby lakes, an art gallery showcasing some of BC’s finest painters and graphic artists, workshops teaching candle and incense making, a kid’s zone with face painters, giant bubbles and all sorts of other fun family activities, a collection of creative & interactive art installations and a vending village filled with food trucks as well as clothing and craft vendors.
