Smile, You’re on Camera
Can’t make the festival? Don’t worry. Catch your favorite artists on CW’s livestream so you don’t have to wear pants and can order takeout. As a bonus, about two months after the live event, the CW broadcasts the whole festival again with behind-the-scenes clips for the world to see. (Those who have cable, anyway).
Viva Las Vegas
Gambling, night clubs, dive bars, buffets, shopping...While you are staying in the Entertainment Capital of the World, take advantage of all the other things this 24/7 city has to offer. Monte Carlo, MGM Grand, Excalibur or any of the hotels in CityCenter are the best accommodations on The Strip close to the venue. With Life is Beautiful Festival taking place further downtown on the same weekend, you’ll want to make arrangements in advance, because this is a busy weekend for Sin City.
Party Like a VIP
For the $180 price tag, you can experience iHeartRadio Music Festival on another level. At the Daytime Village, VIPs get access to the VIP Suites which includes exclusive entrances, three viewing levels, air conditioned seating (very important in Las Vegas), outdoor patios, and private food, drink, and restroom areas.
Feeling Lucky?
iHeartRadio gives away free tickets. All you have to do is enter one (or all) of the contests circulating the interweb and radio, not to mention the fact that they make the contests pretty accessible by posting every individual sponsored contest on their own social media channels. Keep an eye out for the ultimate experience giveaway — one lucky winner can win upwards of $100,000 worth of prizes.
Getting There
Fly into McCarran International Airport and take a taxi, shuttle, ride service, or rental car. If you are lodging in a nearby hotel, walking to the venue is your best option. Remember, Las Vegas is not New York; you can’t hail a cab on the street. However, taxis are always easy to obtain, as each hotel has a designated taxi pick-up area.
