IndieCade – the premiere international festival of independent games – is celebrating its 11th year, offering developers, gamers and fans the opportunity to play and preview the latest innovative indie titles from around the world. From live action RPGs, VR/AR installations and tabletop games, to console, PC and mobile titles, IndieCade offers gaming for everyone. Along with the opportunity to play the hottest new indie titles and speak with the developers, IndieCade will feature sessions, workshops, tournaments, interactive entertainment and more – including the return of Night Games. IndieCade is kicking off its second decade of festivals on October 12-13 with a brand-new location in the heart of Silicon Beach, Santa Monica, CA. This year’s festival will be hosted at the Center for Media and Design at Santa Monica College, a new, state-of-the-art facility opened in 2017 and the home of local NPR station KCRW. The new venue is central to prominent games and entertainment industry companies, accessible for students and creative professionals, and conveniently located near the 26th Street/Bergamot Station on the Metro Expo Line for easy transit.
