From the Organizer

Minnesota Waldorf School’s 5th annual music festival is a celebratory exploration of many great musical styles, including folk, bluegrass, the blues, and more. Excellent music is not the only thing planned for this all-day, kid-friendly event. A craft beer garden, food trucks, curated vendors selling a broad scope of merchandise, and plenty of kid activities, will be set up on the school’s 8-acre campus. Check back for ticket information later this year! The Minnesota Waldorf School North American Roots Music Festival is a benefit fundraiser. All proceeds go to help enhance programming for the Minnesota Waldorf School. Thank you for your support. Waldorf schools offer a developmentally appropriate, experiential, and academically rigorous approach to education. They integrate the arts in all academic disciplines for children from preschool through eighth grade to enhance and enrich learning. They create an educational adventure that inspires our students to evolve into creative thinkers who are personally centered and strongly connected to humanity and the environment. Waldorf Education aims to inspire life-long learning in all students and to enable them to fully develop their unique capacities. In 2016 we held our inaugural Music Festival as a fundraiser for our school. The event was a wonderful success and we are so appreciative to everyone who helped in making this dream come true. We are a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. Please know that by supporting this school and its mission, you truly are helping to change the world one amazing child at a time. If you are intrested in finding out more about the Minnesota Waldorf School, please visit us at www.mnwaldorf.org
