This year we have an amazing line-up of 22 Blues artists/bands including Walter Trout, The Chosen Ones, David Gogo, Mr.Sipp, Tom Lavin & the Legendary Powder Blues, Eric Gales, Raoul & The Bigtime, Wicked Grin, Mark Crissinger, Brandon Santini, Chris Eger, Tas Cru & His Band of Tortured Souls, South Island Rhythm Kings, Harpdog Brown & The Uptown Blues Band and a complete day (Friday) devoted and honouring our female artists: Ana Popovic, Lindsay Beaver, Miss Emily, Anni Piper, Sue Foley, Crystal Shawanda, Judy Brown, Jona Kristinsson. This is one Festival that should be on your bucket list. Over the ensuing years the festival has continuously grown in audience attendance and gained an international status among blues lovers. The focus continues to have Nanaimo become the “Boutique Blues Festival of Choice”. The Nanaimo Blues Society hosts a Blues Jam every Sunday at the Queens Hotel from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm. After hours Blues Jams will take place complimentary with your paid festival wrist band.
