October 8, 2016 Henderson Pavilion 4-6 PM FREE Pre-event engineering hands-on activities for the whole family on the Henderson Pavilion Bull's-eye. 6-10 PM Rock to Walk Muisc Festival with BRUMBY and five other amazing bands. Tickets start at $10. “ROCK TO WALK”—Get Ready to Rock with local Vegas bands, while supporting a good cause. The Now I Can Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping disabled children overcome physical disabilities is teaming up with Las Vegas and Henderson to help local kids say, “Now I Can.” Brumby, Rusty Maples, Kiara Brown, Well-Tempered Madness, Tower of Cards, and The Black Tapes are joining up to help children become physically independent. These local bands will be performing at the Rock to Walk music festival in order to raise money for the Now I Can Foundation, an intensive therapy clinic dedicated to helping children overcome physical disabilities. "Now I Can is so grateful to the Las Vegas community for hosting this music festival for us!” remarked Now I Can founder Tracey Christensen. “There is a lot of musical talent there, and they are so generous to share it on behalf of these kids. We hope the whole community will get tickets to be a part of this event. Our goal is to raise a lot of money to give to Vegas area kids with disabilities so they can come to Now I Can and become more independent! And it’s just going to be a great day to enjoy some food, fun and music with the family!" The concert will be held on October 8 from 6-10 pm at the beautiful, outdoor Henderson Pavilion. Prior to the festival, there will be a FREE engineering event, hosted by Engineering for Kids and Las Vegas educators on the Henderson Pavilion Bull's-eye for families to participate in interactive engineering activities from 4-6 pm. Tickets to the festival are available for $10 and up at hendersonpavilion.com. More information on Now I Can be found at nowican.org. About Now I Can Now I Can is an intensive physical therapy clinic in Provo, Utah. Now I Can has been helping kids from all over the country for 10 years. Patients get therapy five days a week for four hours per day. Studies have shown that a 3-week session of intensive therapy helps a child realize the same goals it would usually take a full year of traditional therapy to achieve.
