Ahoy and Climb Aboard! Olympia Harbor Days Festival & Tugboat Races, an Olympia Kiwanis Event, Sept 4 - 6, 2020. This is the annual celebration where tugboats return to the top of the Puget Sound for three days of family fun including: entertainment, food, art, history, tribal cultural art & activities and a last farewell to summer! Everyone loves this festival - tugboat enthusiasts, history buffs, arts & crafts lovers, food junkies, music groovers and more. FREE family activities and lots of fun for the whole family. Kids activities include a Lego's Harbor Build, Marine Science on land and on a research vessel, Hand's On Children's Museum booth and more. Also see professional sand carvers, wood carvers & boat builders. Mark your calendar now and set your destination to Olympia WA for Labor Day weekend. This award winning festival even offers a Weekend Getaway Cruise from Tacoma to get to Olympia. See website for details. Olympia Harbor Days is host to the World’s Largest Vintage Tugboat Show and Races, with climb aboard touring on Saturday. Be on hand Sunday at noon as the tugs leave shore to participate in the Annual Harbor Days Tugboat Races in the deep channel of the bay.
