Getting There
Located at the Ossipee Valley Fairgrounds, the festival is about 45 minutes from Portland, Maine, and about 2.5 hours from Boston, Massachusetts. If you’re driving, you’ll notice a series of blue “Music Festival” signs pointing the way when you reach Hiram. Check for specific driving directions here.
Lodging
This is primarily a camping festival, and all camping sites are on a first come, first serve basis. Go here to get more information about camping at the festival. If you don’t want to camp, book a room at either The Midway Motel, The Cornish Inn, or the Cottages at Oak Hill Farm, all of which are 10 minutes or less from the festival. If those sell out, look for a hotel in Portland, Maine, and North Conway, New Hampshire, which are about 45 minutes away.
Free Tickets for Kids!
Have some young’uns you want to bring along? Kids 17 under get to attend for free! This multi-generational community will love them as one of its own.
Festival Mission
As a non-profit organization, the festival’s mission is to enrich the rural New England community by supporting live music access, music education, art, local agriculture and sustainable practices. To achieve this mission, the festival provides scholarships to their five-day String Camp before the festival, free tickets for kids 17 and under, discounts for local attendees, farm to table meals and food trucks, a free kids music program during the festival, support of local businesses, and recycling and solar offset programs.
