Everfest's Take
From the Organizer
Pagosa Folk 'N Bluegrass takes place on Reservoir Hill Park, a 130-acre ponderosa pine forest that overlooks the majestic San Juan Mountains of Southwest Colorado. Each year, the festival brings together some of the best bluegrass, acoustic, Americana, Celtic, folk, alt-country and newgrass musicians for 3 days of live performances. The festival features beautiful on site camping (size and type of RVs is restricted; see web site for additional information), workshops, kids programming, campground pickin' circles and late night performances at the Ponderosa Pavilion. Children 12 and under get free admission. The main stage is covered by a large tent, with general admission seating for up to 600 people. An open meadow extends beyond the tent for tarps, blankets and low festival chairs. Food, craft, beer and wine vendors are on site. The park is located in downtown Pagosa Springs within walking distance of its world famous hot springs resorts, restaurants, shopping and lodging.
