Pack some earplugs
Rock am Ring is an open-air festival—to protect your ears against too much volume (and to get some necessary shut eye), bring earplugs, or buy some at the festival.
Tune in to the radio
Tune in to FM 87.7 SW Rock am Ring Radio to listen to traffic news. If you’re not driving, there are bus services running from Koblenz station to the Nürburgring festival site.
Spring for an Experience Camping Package
These come with pre-assembled accommodations for up to four people, with air mattresses and sleeping bags for comfort. There is also private Wi-Fi, BBQ areas, 24-hour security, super clean bathrooms and showers, power outlets, safe deposit boxes, and much more.
Getting There
The Nürburgring is in the Eifel Mountains about 70 km (43.5mi) from Cologne. If you are traveling by car, head towards Köln and then towards Koblenz. There will be signs for the Nürburgring everywhere so you shouldn't miss it.
Lodging
If you aren’t camping, be aware that hotels are relatively cheap in Nürburg outside of the festival. However, you can be sure that nightly fees go up when the event is on, so be sure to book early.
