Join the 8th Annual Sacramento Banana Festival August 12th (10AM-7PM) and 13th (10AM-5PM). Our theme this year is the "Funky Banana Festival" celebration. The Sacramento Banana Festival is a two-day family-friendly multicultural celebration of the diverse cultures that use the banana as food, held each August at William Land Park ( 3800 W Land Park Dr, Sacramento, CA 95822) near Sutterville Rd. The Banana Festival features live entertainment on two stages, a chefs’ challenge, line dancing, pageants, fashion show, art exhibits, exhibits by dozens of local businesses and community organizations, arts and crafts activities, kiddie carnival rides, and lots of banana cuisine. General admission is $8 in advance and $10 at the gate, free for children age 5 and under.
