The San Jose International Short Film Festival began as a collaboration between two Silicon Valley businessmen, both avid movie fans and patrons of the arts. Looking for ways to connect brilliant short form filmmaking to appreciative audiences here in San Jose. Organically the festival grew from a single screening in 2009 to the four day event it is today. Listed as one of the "Top 50 Film Festivals Worth the Entry Fee" in 2014 by MovieMaker Magazine, the 8th annual San Jose International Short Film Festival is honored to present an incredible array of World Class short films from across the globe to excited Silicon Valley audiences from October 20th - 23rd, 2016.
