The Mysteries are Virtual in 2022 once again! The best kept secret in Modern Paganism is happening in Washington State every year for a couple of hundred pilgrims that come to see the ancient rites of Eleusis. Take the Pilgrimage and Witness the original passion play, that transformed lives of the ancient Greeks for 2000 years. In 1985, the Aquarian Tabernacle Church was charged by the Gods of Eleusis to recreate these Mysteries for the modern world. The mysteries are known to heal not only our own souls, but the earth Herself. As we step into each new year, we are focused on how the Gods can aid us in transforming the earth and Her inhabitants into supporting a kinder, sustainable, more compassionate society. These mysteries, held every year in honor of Demeter and Persephone, explore universal concepts and truths from the perspective of the seeker of hidden knowledge, and opens possibilities for a better tomorrow. Though the main focus of the event is on the ancient rites, there are many workshops, rituals, temples of service (that address healing, love issues, gender studies, or game-time fun), that bring a plethora of alternate ways to explore. There is also fantastic merchants with one of a kind gifts and magical items. Everyone who attends comes away touched by Spirit and forever changed with knowledge of the Gods that must be experienced to believe.
