First off, entry into the festival is only possible when the box office and gate are open, so be sure to check the website for their hours and plan accordingly. Highway 70 is busy, dangerous, and heavily patrolled so please drive with caution and get to the festival safely.
Once you arrive at the festival gates, follow staff’s instructions to get to the general off-site parking after you’ve unloaded your vehicle. A free shuttle will transport you back to the festival grounds once you’ve parked.
If you are coming from out of state, the closest major airports are Sacramento International Airport (a two-hour drive) and the Reno-Tahoe International Airport (also a two-hour drive).
Belden Town Resort and Lodge offers plenty of space for tent camping and all the necessary hookups for those bringing RVs. Book early because there are only 20 RV spots.
Looking for something a little more comfortable? Choose a room in one of the Resort’s 18 hotel rooms or stay in one of the 10 cozy, rustic cabins, each complete with fresh linens, housekeeping, and fully furnished kitchens.
Expect Some Weary Travelers
The Pacific Crest Trail passes right through Belden Town, so don’t be surprised if you see a backpacker stumbling out of the woods into this fest. Invite them in to join the party!
