I had the great fortune of winning a ticket give away on their facebook page which allowed me the opportunity to go! I loved it!! Even for those on a budget there are some amazing things to see. I got to catch a hawk and watch some bad ace women joust it out. I would deff, deff urge anyone to go!
This Faire is quite unique. It is far, far away from the hustle and bustle of the city and modern life. Deep in the middle of nowhere, surrounded by pristine woods, rolling meadows and the occasional Amish buggy you will step through a dimensional porthole to Whitehart! Once there you will see a strange land full of Pirates, Scotsman, Knights, gypsies, ladies, royalty, peasants and merchants galore. There are Faires and Fae, even a leprechaun. The Faire is ruled by a queen who visits each part of the land. There are many shows to see, crafters to observe and merchants to purchase souvenirs and more. There is a small bakery, a pub and even a superb restaurant nestled in a quiet shady spot. Stop by the Whitehart Ren Faire....tell them Joe, from The Antebellum Restaurant sent you.
