Traveling to Tidewater
The stunning forest venue in Tidewater Falls is two and a half hours from Portland or Eugene, five hours from Ashland or Seattle and 10 hours from San Francisco or Vancouver. Tidewater is a mere 20 minutes inland from the 101, located in the Siuslaw National Forest. Reduce the number of cars on the road by driving with friends or carpool with new friends. The great Pacific Northwest provides gorgeous, green views on any route to the campgrounds, making the trip there a beautiful start to the festival.
Embracing the Elements
Weather at Beloved Festival in early August is typically favorable and probably on the cold side for many of those coming from south of the region. Daytime temperatures average 65 degree that can drop to the upper 40s at night. Days are usually clear, but rain gear is always advised. While temperatures stay moderately cool and the trees provide constant shade, bringing sunscreen is still a good idea.
Camping Tips
Campsites are chosen prior to arriving and range in price per vehicle for the weekend, so choose early for a prime spot and camp with friends to save money. Cars are parked away from the camping area so staffers are prepared to assist with carting gear to your campsite.
Tickets
Festival wristbands include access to the event for all three days, but car passes are sold separately. Everyone must register off-site.
