Get involved!
If you’re a Jacksonville local (and even if you’re not), you can sign up as a One Spark volunteer to help entrepreneurs get a leg up. So join the more than 500 people who pitch in to set up and run this lively event.
Bring the kids (and dogs)
One Spark features lots of kid-centric programming and activities. Most of its events are pet-friendly too.
Stay out late
One Spark After Dark gives festival-goers, whether they’re Creators or voters, the chance to hobnob in Jacksonville’s nightlife hotspots. Parties go off, many of them enhanced by live bands, drink specials, and VIP lounges.
Practicalities:
Jacksonville International Airport (JAX) has plenty of ground transportation options to get you downtown, including shuttles that go directly to many of the city’s lovely hotels. You can also access the festival area via Jacksonville's Skyway railway service, which is normally pretty quiet but can get quite crowded during One Spark. Keep in mind that this is Florida’s largest city—both in terms of population and in terms of the amount of land it encompasses. So to get a look at it beyond its downtown, you may want to rent a car.
