After the parade
The party doesn’t end when the last float passes. Stay tuned for nightclubs doing specials on the night of the Techno Parade.
Take care of yourself
Don’t get so tranced-out that you forget to eat, take breaks, and drink water. A 25,000 liter tanker provides access to water, but it might be wise to bring your own. Use condoms and drive sober.
Move around
Different floats feature difference sub-genres of techno music. Find the beats you like and follow them, or drift between floats as the music calls you.
Stay for a while
The celebration of techno isn’t limited to the parade. Paris Electronic Week features classes, conferences, round tables, software trainings, DJ workshops, and parties.
Getting There
Once you've flown in, via Charles De Gaulle airport you can access the parade with Métro lines 3, 5, 8, 9 and 11.
Lodgings
The parade takes place near many of the city’s main attractions—Notre Dame, Luxembourg Gardens, and Bastille so there are many hotels and hostels nearby. Start your search with Hotel Bristol République, Hotel République, or St. Christopher’s Inn hostel.
