Don't tarry on tickets
Buy admission passes immediately when they go on sale. In 2013, passes sold out in 90 minutes.
And go for the upgrade
"Supertickets" are sold for extra cost and include access to hospitality areas and special viewing areas close to the stage, private shuttle from campground to amphitheater and more.
Pack for three seasons
Central Washington weather can be unpredictable and it can be very windy at The Gorge. Bring a hat, sunscreen and sunglasses, and a sweater or jacket for night. Small flashlights are recommended.
You'll be camping
A campsite spot, allocated on first-come, first-served basis, is included in general admission passes and have portable toilets and hot showers (the latter for a fee). Premier, Gold and Terraces campgrounds, which provide more services and amenities (including flush toilets), are available for extra cost. Safari tents and luxury yurts are also available.
Booze for free in your tent
Alcohol is allowed in the campsites but not on festival grounds, where vendors sell food, beer, and alcoholic drinks.
