Sorry, no festivals here.
Chile hosts a rainforest, desert, patron saint, a volcano and euphoric festivals. This narrow, but long, stretch of country holds a lot. Santiago, its capital, is its epicenter of festival life. Here, the nation’s largest festival kicks off every year and is named literally after the thousands of people that attend. Chilean festivals have and always will consist of booming music, bright costumes and an appreciation of its history. It’s first people settled around 18,000 years ago. To this day, its tough, but friendly people are proud and welcoming of their culture.
