Sorry, no festivals here.
We all know how well Disney does animation. It can be argued that The Walt Disney Company—whose animations range from the classic “Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs” to the fantastic “Frozen”—has had one of the tightest grips on the animation game for decades. But they’re far from being the only animators out there. Just take a walk through an animation festival and you’ll see the assortment of animation entertaining people all over the world, whether well-known or emerging artists make it. Animation festivals, where imagination meets reality, take place in cities all over the world, from Buenos Aires, Argentina, to Philadelphia, and they feature everything from anime to the work of visual arts students.
