Lightning in a Bottle is less than two months away, and fans both old and new are equally excited. With so much to see and do at the festival, there are always adventures to be had. Whether you’re boogieing down at the Woogie Stage or flowing through a vinyasa workshop, there are plenty of activities around the clock.
Recently, Lightning in a Bottle asked their Twitter followers to name their favorite things about the festival, and fans were quick to reminisce. Here are some of the best things about LIB that keep people coming back year after year, in no particular order.
1. This classic LIB tradition, of course.

An absolute must for any first-time or veteran LIB’er.
2. The place to be unabashedly yourself.
my favorite thing about the festival is being able to walk around without any fear or judgement from others! yas gawd!— gaytranada 🔥 (@ericyumyum) April 9, 2018
Let your freak flag fly. People will love you all the same.
3. The food. ‘Nuff said.

Organic, locally sourced, vegan, healthy and delicious—they have all the foods! Find anything you need to fuel your body for a night of dancing after a whole day of...dancing.
4. All the art, of course.

Definitely spend at least a day exploring all of the incredible artwork dotting the festival grounds.
5. Getting down at the Thunder Stage lives up to all the hype.

7. If you can wake up for it, yoga.
I love all of the yoga classes and workshops that you offer but my favorite thing has to be the Immordl Coffee stand 😭♥️ Also I can’t wait to check out all the new art classes this year— timothée thick (@kaiiili) April 9, 2018
The struggle is real after staying up all night, but a good morning stretch at sunrise will put you in a good mood, guaranteed. We won’t judge you if all you do is shavasana, though.
8. The sense of community.
1. Love the venue and how big it is.— Petty White (@h00f_heart3d) April 9, 2018
2. Usually festival food is shit. But LiB has some amazing food vendors. (Shoutout to that dumpling vendor. Those things saved my life!)
3. The sense community in the camp sites. People were so friendly & very willing to lend a helping hand.
