Enormous gas and hot-air balloons floated high above the Southwest desert as the Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta, the world's largest balloon gathering, took place this week. Pilots and spectators enjoyed the pageantry of hundreds of balloons launching in the pre-dawn light.
