With 12 years under their belt as festival promoters the team behind Bilbao BBK Live clearly have the experience needed to pull off such a huge event. With five stages and some of the world's biggest musicians passing through over the course of three days, it is one of Spain's biggest music festivals and runs so smoothly it is a testament to the organisation that goes on behind-the-scenes.
Attracting over 100,000 visitors over three days, this year's event was pretty special with headliners such as The Killers, Depeche Mode, Die Antwoord, The 1975, Primal Scream, Two Door Cinema Club and many more rocking the two main stages, while Joe Goddard, Idles, Austra, Jessy Lanza and a whole host of other alternative musicians handled the Starman Stage. A range of Spanish and international acts got to work on the Matusalem Stage and house and techno royalty graced the Basoa Stage. It was a tremendous weekend, full of fun, laughter and great music – even a torrential downpour couldn't dampen spirits.
Here's a selection of photos to illustrate the wonderful three days we had there.
