"The Trickster" was the theme for AfrikaBurn 2014, and with the largest gathering yet in the Tankwa Karoo desert. some 9,000-odd tricksters drove the long dusty road for the week long event. The central creative art piece, "The Clan," was a giant robot wearing a rabbit head, while another piece called "Subterrafuge," an anti-fracking statement, became the largest structure yet to grace the event, standing proud at 30 metres (100ft) high.

AfrikaBurn continues to surprise and is securing itself a position as a world class event with its unique African charm.
