We've reported a few times on news trickling out of Denver, Colorado, about a possible new festival in the works between the city and Superfly Productions. Set to be a massive, three-day music festival in the vein of Bonnaroo and Outside Lands (Superfly's flagship festivals), the production company had been negotiating with the City Council for months (years, really) over logistics and hypotheticals. The good news is, as of yesterday, negotiations are over and the festival is on.

Launching in 2018 and taking place at the Overland Park Golf Course, the still as-yet-unnamed festival just inked a five year agreement with Denver, according to the Miami Herald ; this makes the fest the first of its kind in the region. We can practically hear Coloradoans cheering.

As per Superfly tradition, the company has promised lineups featuring top caliber music superstars across an array of genres. It predicts the festival will attract 30,000-plus attendees per day. It's gonna be a whopper.

Stay tuned for more details as they emerge.
