Without thinking, we can all probably name a few things about Boston, right? It's in Massachusetts, full top-notch sports teams, has brutally hot summers and even more brutal winters, considered a Mecca for seafood lovers, Dunkin' Donuts, and that legendary accent. Well, after a successful fourth year gathering thousands of music lovers, it's safe to say you should add Boston Calling to that list.
After two years at Boston's City Hall Plaza before moving across the Charles River to Cambridge, the fest made good use of Harvard University's regal campus for the second year in a row. With the move and an expanded lineup including regional eats, chill zones and local art, the fest attracts thousands and has cemented itself as the city's most popular music festival.
Despite a slightly soaked weekend, Eminem, The Killers, St. Vincent, Fleet Foxes, Portugal. the Man, Jack White, Pussy Riot, The Decemberists, Tyler the Creator, Queens of the Stone Age, Paramore, Khalid, The National and dozens more dropped in for the good times.
