The 8th Annual Brooklyn Electronic Music Festival  lineup has arrived and it's a tastefully curated collection of classic, emerging and nuanced electronic artists. 

The festival takes place from November 5-8 at various venues in Williamsburg, Brooklyn and also features a slew of daytime panels and fireside chats. Consider BEMF a forum for the celebration and exploration of electronic music in one of its most important epicenters, New York. There's much to tout in the lineup, and here's a few artists we're hyped about:

Masters At Work 

  

Kenny "Dope" Gonzalez and "Little" Louis Vega are exactly as their group name implies: Masters. The pioneers of Latin house's introduction into disco house, they made the fusion a staple on dance floors around the world and continue to be leaders of the global house music movement. (Case in point: This Louie Vega Funkadelic remix featuring Kendrick Lamar. )

Snakehips

The sophisticated electronica of this UK duo has taken them from being those who remix to the ones being remixed. They've purveyed smooth and sultry electronic vibes at every turn.

Armand Van Helden 

At the turn of the millennium, Armand Van Helden was already one of the biggest DJs in the world. Since then, his career has remained solid through the evolution of house into speed garage. 

Django Django

We're especially excited for the inclusion of this English electro pop-rock band in the BEMF lineup. It shows that BEMF is indeed celebrating electronic music in all its finest forms. Django Django were a major standout for us at San Francisco's Outside Lands Festival  in August and their energy is not to be missed.
