Carl Cox's legendary Space Ibiza residency may be over, but the man hasn't slowed down in the slightest. Hot on the heels of last week's news out of Miami that Cox will again headline Ultra Music Festival 's epic Megastructure stage (in its new home within the Resistance) and just days after the first lineup dropped for Cox's own inaugural festival Pure , the techno leader has been announced as an official partner for Australia's debut Babylon Festival

Cox says, “I am super excited to be part of the Babylon family. The magic of a three-day camping event is something every Australian music fan should experience, especially in these amazing locations. Words can’t describe the fun to be had with friends at such gatherings. I travel to and play at Burning Man regularly, and many other destination festivals of this kind, so I am proud to be a part of Babylon and I am looking forward to playing an extended set in the spirit of an outdoor journey like this."

In addition to headlining, Cox will curate the musical programming and collaborate with the Babylon team to shape the fest's multi-faceted ethos. Cox's presence is a boon to the lineup, which boasts house and techno stars like Dirtybird maestro Claude VonStroke , Lee Burridge ("All Day I Dream), psytrancers Infected Mushroom , Atmos , Danny Daze , Boogs , and dozens more. Expect a world that's "equal parts dystopian playground and bohemian gathering," as the fest simultaneously unfolds in Victoria and New South Wales between March 10-13, 2017.

Looks like Carl Cox and Australia will be the hottest duo in electronic music this year. His debut fest Pure will take place in Melbourne and Sydney.
