Riot Fest is one of our newest additions to the Fest300 List of the world's best festivals, and for good reason. Here, music is king, and fans from all over come to revel in heavy riffs and the inimitable and unabashedly nostalgic reunion shows the festival curates each year.

2017 will continue the legacy, considering the badass phase one lineup Riot Fest just released.

Nine Inch Nails and Queens of the Stone Age are obvious rippers, but the real band that sets Riot Fest's headliners apart is the Jawbreaker reunion. This is the seminal punk band's first performance in 21 years, and Riot Fest has confirmed that it is a one-off exclusive; no subsequent tour dates are planned. Reunion rumors throughout the years have consistently been denied by the band’s members, despite news that the trio had gotten together to jam to "see if they could still do it" last year.

Like we said, Riot Fest not only books the best current punk and rock acts but also specializes in incredible reunion shows that are the stuff rabid fans' wildest, weirdest dreams. Case in point? In 2016, Glenn Danzig reunited with the Misfits and in 2013, Riot Fest put on the Replacements’ first reunion shows.

After basking in the glory that is the rest of the lineup (there is really an impressive array of bands on deck), grab tickets here – they will go quickly. There are still more bands to be announced.
