Could Day For Night have stuffed any more taste-making artists into its 2017 lineup? Since 2015 the Houston, Texas, festival has consistently unveiled musical lineups stocked with critical darlings, trailblazers and hitmakers and paired them alongside light installations by some of the most innovative artists in the medium, making it one of the most red-hot happenings in the game.

Unsurprisingly, everyone you wanna see in 2017 will gather for this year's festival. Nine Inch Nails, Thom Yorke, Solange, Justice, St. Vincent, Tyler, The Creator, James Blake, Pretty Lights, Jamie xx, and Phantogram top the bill, but the fine-print artists are even better. Pussy Riot, Cardi B, Sky Ferreira, The Jesus Lizard, Laurie Anderson, Nina Kraviz...the list goes on. See the lineup below to see what we mean.

Large and immersive installations, whether free-standing or fused with the musical performances, are Day For Night's other calling card. This year's artists include Ryoji Ikeda, Matthew Schreiber, Conditional Studio + Processing Foundation, James Clar, Felicia D'Estienne, and many more. These dynamic works of art give Day For Night attendees a richer, more sensual experience than can be found at almost any other festival in the U.S.

The first day of the festival will see a summit with talks by Chelsea Manning, Laurie Anderson, Pussy Riot’s Nadya Tolokonnikova, and Los Angeles-based artist Lauren McCarthy. Following that summit is “Soul Cleansing,” a performance by Saint Heron that features Solange, Earl Sweatshirt, and Kaytranada.

This year, a portion of the festival's proceeds will help the Greater Houston Community Foundation aid people in areas affected by Hurricane Harvey.

Day For Night will take place December 15-17, 2017, in Houston, Texas. Tickets are available now.
