Madison House Presents, the folks behind Michigan's uber popular Electric Forest , has just received the necessary permit to throw its very own four-day camping festival in Colorado's Chaffee County (which includes the San Isabel National Forest).

According to thissongissick.com, Jeremy Stein, the president of Madison House Presents, confirmed that this fresh festival will be "the inauguration of a magical Summer celebration." This new festival will join a pile of growing events in the state, such as Sonic Bloom , ARISE Music Festival , the venerable Telluride Bluegrass Festival, and more. While many details about the festival's theme or vibe will be, Stein emphasized that he wanted the as-yet-unnamed festival to be "a mighty source of Colorado pride."

The permit outlines the happening as taking place August 4-7 on a 274-acre ranch – plenty of room for festies to frolic and for organizers to fill with art, immersive environments, and music.

So if you're yearning for an excuse to check out the burgeoning festival scene in Colorado, stay tuned as more details arise.
