NYC's premiere EDM festival, Electric Zoo , is headed back to Randall's Island with a hefty phase one lineup in tow. With this year's theme as "The 6th Boro," which the festival's website calls "the most special of all time," the Labor Day Weekend event will gather thousands of attendees clad in animal costumes ready to dance and explore their wild sides through music.

This year's headliners include DJ Snake, Above & Beyond, deadmau5 and Eric Prydz, special guests Sasha & John Digweed, Excision, and many more, which you can see on the lineup poster below. There are over 50 more acts to be announced.

Electric Zoo's website explains 2017's theme: "In [an] ode to the five boroughs, three wise men called The Beastie Boys once said: 'Brooklyn, Bronx, Queens and Staten, from the Battery to the top of Manhattan. Asian, Middle Eastern, and Latin, Black, White, New York you make it happen.' But we’re about to take you to a part of Big Apple that no cabbie, no beastie, not even the Statue of Liberty could point the way towards! Come to our hood, the one that sparkles with the surreal, dazzles with imagination, and envisions New York City in a way that you never thought possible."

Tickets are expected to sell out in advance, so grab one while you can. Electric Zoo takes places September 1-3, 2017, on Randall's Island, New York City.
