It makes sense that Serbia's EXIT Festival would want to try out a new venture; it has provided one of Europe's best musical gatherings for two solid decades. So it comes as no surprise that EXIT's organizers are adding their Midas touch to the sun-soaked shores of Croatia with their new festival called Sea Star.

Landing in Umag, Sea Star will go down May 26-27, 2017, at the Stella Maris resort. Having a parent festival like EXIT has already proven to be useful, as Sea Star has locked in The Prodigy as a major headliner, along with local favorites Dubioza kolektiv and Croatian hosts Urban&4. We'll keep our eyes peeled for the rest of the lineup, which will present artists from the global and regional music scene on six different stages. And if your stamina can take you past the fest's two days, festival-goers can also expect a huge warmup party on Thursday,  May 25, as well as an afterparty for the fittest on Sunday, May 27.

Yes, this is another fresh Croatian festival on the scene. Yesterday, we shared news of Labyrinth Open. Just a couple of weeks ago we announced the arrival of Croatia Winter Music Festival, with Armin Van Buuren headlining, among other EDM luminaries. And that's on top of Croatia's already booming festival scene.

To snag tickets, EXIT's got a pretty enticing deal. Available only during the holiday season, they've got what's called a “1 ticket = 4 festivals” offer, which lets all current ticket holders and future ticket buyers for EXIT festival get free tickets to the remaining three festivals under EXIT's festival umbrella – Sea Star festival in Croatia (May 26-27), Revolution festival in Romania (June 2-3), and Sea Dance festival in Montenegro (July 13-15) – as a gift. The number of these tickets is extremely limited, and all buyers, current or future ones, will need to quickly register their EXIT tickets in order to receive e-tickets for the other festivals.
