Fest300 has united with Austin-based festival discovery platform Everfest to better serve our global festival community.

Fest300 was created in 2013 by hospitality guru Chip Conley and adventure traveler Art Gimbel as a guide to the world’s best annual events in music, food, film and faith. Originally envisioned as a resource for travel with point-of-view editorial, Fest300 has developed into a leading voice in the global festival movement. Our community now includes participants on all levels of west coast transformational festivals, English fancy dress parties, global psytrance gatherings, jam band followers and international techno groups. We are proud to have matured into a reliable voice for a vibrant creative movement.

Everfest was founded in 2014 by Paul Cross and Jay Manickam, veteran festival-goers and successful entrepreneurs. They took a slightly different route and created a website that lists over 15,000 festivals of all genres, supporting producers and offering a kaleidoscope of options for attendees. As Paul told me, “We started independently yet had the same vision, the same worldview. We were friends before we ever met.” Based in Austin, Texas, their larger team includes savvy developers and festival enthusiasts. For our small San Francisco team and trusted brand, the union is a great fit.

Fest300 will live on as an annual list of the world's best festivals within Everfest. Check out the 2017 list here.

Together we offer you, our community, an opportunity that we believe will enhance the festival experience for everyone, from producers to artists to volunteers to attendees. Please join us for a conversation on our Facebook page or via email at info@everfest.com.
