We all like to loosen up. Whether it's our legs, booties, arms or mouths that start moving, we just can't help ourselves when that beat drops. What makes dancing at festivals so good is that people are lost in the moment; nothing feels off limits, and it's a safe place from judgment to shake it as you please. Turns out that today is International Dance Day (yep, that's a thing), so we thought we'd salute some of our favorite movers and shakers of the festival world, who dance like no one's watching and serve as inspiration for the rest of us as fest season heats up.

1. Daddy Just Wants to Groove

In addition to having the freshest footwear around, this dad is just doin' his thing as he lets the beat take over.

2. Two Friends, One Unique Bond

The girl on the left is signing the lyrics to Gareth Emery's "U" for her deaf friend to experience the show. It's a beautiful display of friendship on the dance floor.

3. Benny Hill...or Benny Benassi?

The internet is so great. We'd love to hear what these guys were actually dancing to in the first place. In particular, the guy on the far left deserves your attention. The footwork game is strong with this one. Take notes, people.

4. A Hippie and His Hill at Sasquatch

This is one of those only-in-your-mind dance parties – but hey, you do you, right? For all we know, we might've been dancing to Robyn's "Dancing On My Own" It's delightful watching the crowd run to join him and kick it up a notch.

5. The Cop Who Didn't Let His Uniform Stop Him

It's impossible not to move at a reggae festival; even if it's just moving your head front to back, it still counts. Bonus points awarded if you come to dance while still on the job, with a badge and in a starched blue uniform. Additional bonus points if you can shake it better than anyone else there and get a shoutout from the stage.
