With more than 40 of experience being a Grade A provocateur under her belt, Grace Jones took the stage at Brooklyn's Afropunk Festival this past weekend and easily made headlines once again with a topless, tribal-inspired performance of her hits and deep cuts.

Amidst renditions of her disco and new wave classics, Jones posed an important question to her adoring fans: "Maybe I should take off my shoes and go totally tribal.” From there, Jones donned her signature under-bust corsets, ornate headdresses, skull masks, weaves and Keith Haring-inspired body paint. Free the nipple indeed.

The cherry on top? Jones' ridiculously impressive hula-hopping skills, which she put on display for the entirety of her performance of her smash "Slave to the Rhythm," which you can view in the video at the top of this post. Festies, take note.
