Maybe you're one of the almost 13 million people to watch the epic Sasquatch 2009 video of one happy weirdo, spawning a whole dance party of happy weirdos during Santigold's set? It's a beautiful chain reaction where of one crazy dancer turns into hundreds via free expression and just having a flat out good time without giving any fucks.  Soon, it became the subject of the above TED talk on leadership and starting a movement and as Sasquatch festival begins, it's a constant reminder of what the 4-day festival weekend is about.

When was the last time you let yourself go? When was the last time you danced uncontrollably in front of thousands of people without a care in the world? Now, while interpretive dancing for thousands to see might not be your cup of tea, let its symbolism be your spirit guide at Sasquatch. Don't be afraid to step out of your comfort zone. Make new friends, laugh and accept a weirdo, see new bands and say "yes" to something that may seem completely ridiculous at first. Cause you'll never know when something incredible might happen next. Happy Sasquatch y'all!
